What is the campus like? The atmosphere and the students? Is it fun and friendly and lively? I want a school with a good quality education and a good, fun social scene. and finally, would this school be better than Penn State Erie? Thank you!!!

UMass Boston has a striking campus. Have you ever seen it? While I don't like the older buildings - kind of severe looking - the new buildings are quite nice, and the location is *amazing*. It's directly on the water, overlooking Boston Harbor. UMass Boston is mostly a commuter campus. Most students live off-campus. I'm not sure how that impacts the social scene.
