Is it hard to find a job as a school psychologist in Massachusetts?


Specifically near the Boston area?

honey its hard to get a job anywhere. Especially up north. and its sad to say but a school psychologist is often one of the cut jobs due to the economy. but god bless you and best wishes! and answer below me. there would be special education because EC teachers. Special education deals often with mental disorders and thats what EC is trained to do. However they may be accompanied by psychologist but that is not their main duty. now maybe for middle school I think you'd have more luck.

School Psychologists are actually not one of the positions always cut from money issues because unlike teachers, paras, every district must have a school psychologist for a certain number of children. Without them, there would be no special education!
