Suggestion on a good nursing school in Massachusetts?

I live in Boston massachusetts and I am looking for a good four year school with a good nursing program. I attended Simmons college in the Fenway but I hated it so now im on the hunt for a new school. I want one that has good financial aid and one that is fairly diverse. Any suggestions???

Simmons is actually a good nursing school, and if you got in there, you'll most likely also be able to get into UMass Boston, which is another good nursing school. Others in Boston that are really very strong include Boston College, and Northeastern. If you don't mind going outside the city, excellent nursing programs exist at UMass Amherst, UMass Lowell, UMass Dartmouth, Fitchburg State and Worcester State. And a lot of these schools are public schools, so for you as a Boston resident, they're a bargain. Out of those, in terms of diversity, I'd point to UMass Boston as my #1.

What is the best art school in Boston?

I am looking at the Art Institute of Boston, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and School of the Museum of Fine Arts for photography. I don't really know anything about them and was wondering their reputations. Any information that can be given to me would be awesome! Thanks! I defiantely don't have the grades for Harvard. I have a 3.4. haha And I have been looking at SCAD and RISD, as well as the School of Visual Arts. I'm just trying to get a wide variety of locations and schools.

Little secret - Harvard has one of the tops arts programs in the country, no joke, it's standards far exceed the likes of any of the institutions you mentioned.

You should check out The Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). It's got a great reputation. And, use the internet to research the schools. You can't guarantee the validity of things that people post here, but you can guarantee the information you gather on your own.

What is Boston like for high school students?

If you are currently going to or ever went to high school in Boston, Massachusetts, say anything about your experience. For example, what was the social life like, did you walk to school or take the bus, what extra-curricular activities did you do, were the sports coaches tough on you etc.

umm i took the train and boston is nice but honestly either ur school is good or its aweful. i had tons of friends while going there and the partys were fun. weed is definately a big thing here along with coke and heroin, if ur running with good kids tho u shouldnt have to worry bout it. its nice to go to a college here after school cuz there are so many of them and u will know tons of ppl. i definately am for boston schools

I have a friend (read between the lines) who used to work for the Boston Public Schools system, and believe me, unless you are seriously deficient, you do not want to be there. They cater to the lowest common denominator.

It's not particularly hard to get into. As long as you are a pretty good student in high school, you should get in.
2 :
It used to be extremely easy to get into and was primarly a commuter college. It has gotten more difficult but still not among the elite Boston colleges like Harvarrd, MIT, Holy Cross, Tufts, BC.
3 :
If you don't have the grades for one of the top tier Boston colleges, it is a great alternative.

How to change your name in Boston, Massachusetts?

when I turn 18 I want to change my first and middle name preferably during my senior year of high school before I graduate how long is the process.

I don't know the process specifically in Massachusetts, but it can, in many places, be difficult and expensive, often requiring you to take out an ad in a newspaper with some minimal circulation to advertise it so you can't use that to hide from creditors, for example. Call the County Clerk in your County. They should be able to tell you the appropriate procedure and the requirements.
2 :
In MA you're going to have to get a criminal records check and publish a notice in the newspaper. After the publication information is returned to the court, it can take 3-4 weeks to receive your name change certificate from the court in the mail. So it looks like it's going to take at least 5-6 weeks.
